Title: Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close/ Everything is Illuminated
Author: Jonathan Safran Foer
I have started becoming a lot more picky about the books I buy, because I was getting out a tad of control. I now resist cheap and secondhand paperbacks and try to go for quality over quantity. I buy most YA for my Kindle now too as it is more practical to read whilst travelling and whilst I'm eating lunch at work, so really I just look at beautiful books that I'll want to keep forever! I've had my eye on these two books for agges and decided to finally get them. I love Jonathan Safran Foer, so having this beautiful edition of his books makes me happy! I haven't read 'The Marlowe Papers' yet but I can't wait to- it is a novel in poems which really intrigues me. Anyway, here they are:

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who delights in the physical design of a book almost as much as the contents of it sometimes. ;-) Happy reading this week!
